Dear Parent/Carers,

As part of our Year 2 Seaside Topic we will be visiting Flamborough and Bridlington on:

Wednesday, 19^th September 2007.

The visit will comprise of:

· A visit to the ‘Beside the Seaside’ museum at Bridlington

· A tour of Flamborough Lighthouse and a talk by the coastguard

· Beach and rock pool exploring at Flamborough South Landing

We will be leaving school at 9.15 a.m. prompt, please have the children in their classrooms for 8.55 a.m. as normal. As this is the children’s major trip for the year we will be arriving back at school at approximately 5.30 p.m. (you can meet the coach at the Elloughton Road entrance near the park).

On the day your child will need:

· A packed lunch in a disposable plastic bag (no fizzy drinks or glass bottles)

· A pair of wellies (in a plastic bag)

· A pair of sensible shoes

· A waterproof coat

Please make sure all clothing is labelled.

The cost of the trip is £10.45 however this is the only paid for trip in Year 2 , other visits are free. Please complete and return the permission form below along with your contribution of £10.45 before Friday, 14^th September 2007.
